Castrocucco di Maratea is a wild beach in Basilicata of Italy. It is also known under the name of
A 'Gnola. There are no trees ashore, but a beautiful mountain is nearby, - where you can stay and walk along the trail by the sea. There is a large free car parking lot being the only one like that in the district. Shore and seabed: pebble, sand.

There are several hotels (from US$80) located at some distance from the beach of Agnola. But campsites are the major type of accomodation options here. In fact, there are mountains to the north, while towns are located in the south. So this is the most suitable place for campsites.

Fly to
Naples international airport (NAP) or fly to
Lamezia Terme airport (SUF). Take a train to the station of
Praja Ajeta Tortora. Next hire a taxi.
