Cayo Francisqui island

Cayo Francisqui is an island being the nearest one to the airport of Los Roques on the Caribbean coast of Venezuela. Beach has poor vegetation, but white sand is gorgeous, and shallow lagoon has crystal clear water. In general, this is quite typical island in the archipelago, but relatively crowded. There are no hotels on Cayo Francisqui island. The nearest hotels are located on the neighboring island of Grand Roque. Some expensive hotels often provide complimentary boat transfer to Cayo Francisqui.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Caracas international airport (CCS), next fly to Los Roques Airport (LRV). Next take a boat to the island of Cayo Francisqui (10 minutes per way).

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to the islands of Los Roques is a dry season from September to May. However, summer is good as well, because it doesn't rain very hard.
