Cayo Playuela is a popular beach in the
Morrocoy National Park, Venezuela. This is a real tropical paradise with palms and white sand, while the snorkeling on the home reef is excellent. You can rent a parasol, - and there is also a shower, toilet and food and drinks for sale. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

There are many basic guesthouses in Tucacas and in Chichiriviche. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high even compared to other popular beach destinations of Venezuela.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Caracas international airport (CCS) and get by bus via Puerto Cabello to Tucacas. Next take a boat tour to the islands of Morrocoy. This is a popular service, so it should be easy to find suitable boat.
When to go [edit]
You may visit the beach of Cayo Playuela any time of year. There is no pronounced rainy season, and it is always warm.
