Ceuta beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Ceuta is the most popular Spanish territory located in North Africa. Old fortress walls look impressive. But as for the beaches, these are rather mediocre.
Playa del Chorillo is the only good beach in Ceuta. Scenic views are great, but sea water is very cold most of time. Probably, this is because the town is located almost next to the Strait of Gibraltar. So you should not expect a comfortable swimming. Shore and seabed: pebbles.

Hotels [edit]
In Ceuta hotels, rooms' fares range from US$40 to US$100 per night. When you choose location of hotel, first of all, you need to pay attention not to the distance from the sea, but to elevation to the hotel. If the property is located too high atop the mountain, road to the beach and back will be very hard.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Malaga international airport (AGP). Next get by train to
Algeciras station and take a ferry from Algeciras to Ceuta.
