Chaweng beach

Chaweng - the most popular beach in Samui island. However, the reason of that popularity is not that it is the best, but the fact that it's built up with hotels. So on the one hand we get a strong crowd, on the other hand - the almost complete lack of lush vegetation. Also the beach is very shallow with strong waves, which are very good to jump. Hotels [edit]

There is a maximum number of hotels in Chaweng, which are very tightly packed. So do not expect to find cheap bungalows right on the beach. Usually on the first line there are either high-rise building or very expensive boutique hotels.
