Chiaia beach

Chiaia is an excellent beach on Ischia island, Italy. Most of the coastline is protected from the open sea by breakwaters. So the water is shallow without waves - great for children. However, in the south there is also an open sea with good depth. There is an expensive rental of sunbeds, as well as free areas without shower or changing cabins. The cost of rooms in the hotels of Forio starts from US$60, which is a great deal for such an upscale resort area. Unfortunately, during the high season, a more realistic price is about US$200-300 per night.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Naples international airport (NAP). Take a train to Pozzuoli station and next get by ferry to Forio port of Ischia island. It is possible just to walk about 5 minutes to the beach of Chiaia.
