Chiaia is an excellent beach on
Ischia island, Italy. Most of the coastline is protected from the open sea by breakwaters. So the water is shallow without waves - great for children. However, in the south there is also an open sea with good depth. There is an expensive rental of sunbeds, as well as free areas without shower or changing cabins. In August, it is a lot of people everywhere. Shore and seabed: sand.
