Chub Cay beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Chub Cay is a beach in the southwest of
Berry Islands in the Bahamas. The beach is beautiful enough. It faces the west, so there are no algae. In addition to the hotel, there are also marina, restaurant and shop. So most of visitors here are those who travel by catamarans. If you don't, you can easily find some other good hotel - much cheaper. Please note, that marina most of time is not suitable for large catamarans. Since there are just a few suitable slots, and these are often occupied. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Chub Cay Resort & Marina is a great hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$800 per night. In general, the hotel is good, but overpriced. In addition, there are complaints about the service, which is not acceptable for their upscale price tag. For example, many employees are rude.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Nassau international airport (NAS). Next make a domestic flight to
Great Harbour Cay Airport (GHC) or to
Little Whale Cay Berry Islands Airport.
It is also possible to get from Nassau to Berry Islands by speedboat. Your hotel will always suggest all possible options for domestic transfer.
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to Berry Islands is a dry season in the winter half of the year. However, the summer is also good. Since sea water is much warmer, and there are no crowds of tourists.
