Clifton beaches
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Clifton is the most luxury beach in Cape Town, South Africa. It is common to split it into four sections, - starting from the 1st beach in the north (with the strongest waves) and down to the 4th beach in the south (with the calm water). Ocean water is the coldest on the entire Atlantic coast of Cape Town, and even in summer it does not rise above 18°C. But the landscapes are superb attracting crowds of visitors - especially on weekends. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
