Coffee Beach

Coffee Beach is a wild beach in the northwest of
Rolas island, Sao Tome and Principe. It is also known as
Praia Café. The beach is beautiful, while the swimming is comfortable. There is equator in the south of the beach. Please note, that famous Equator Landmark is not here, but rather somewhere near the village. A boat from the major Sao Tome island also arrive in the village. So everything is close to each other. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

There are no hotels on Coffee Beach. However, you may ask locals about room's rental in the village nearby.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Sao Tome international airport (TMS). Next hire a taxi. There is also public transport on the island, but the bus routes are not convenient for tourists in most cases. It is best to get to Rolas island by boat from
Praia Inhame beach or from any other beach of the major Sao Tome island.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Sao Tome and Principe is a dry season from June to September. Unfortunately, sea water is relatively cold during this period.
