COMO Cocoa is a small island in the
South Male atoll, Maldives. Water bungalows are the only accomodation option, so the island itself has no many buildings. There is a great sandspit in the east of the island, the northern beaches are deserted, while the west end features a large swimming pool with palms. Near the coast there is a home reef with good snorkelling. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Minimum room's rate starts at US$1200 per night, but actual fares are even higher. This price doesn't look reasonable even for the 5-stars hotel in the Maldives. Water villas are quite ordinary by the Maldivian standards, and boat styled design looks ugly and not worth extra money. However, the hotel's service is perfect, thus making the overrated price more reasonable.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a hotel's speedboat (40 minutes per way). Transfer fees are US$250 per adult, US$125 per child (3-12 years), infants are free of charge.
You may save a lot on transportation, if make your own trip via the island of
Maafushi. However, it doesn't make sense, as the whole stay at the hotel will be very expensive anyway.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives is a dry period in the winter half of the year.
