Coolangatta is an airport beach in the Gold Coast of Australia. It is the southernmost beach of Gold Coast, and it's not the best in region. However, it's no so bad for the beach located just near the airport. There are also several other beaches to the north following one by one:
Kirra,
Bilinga,
Tugun and
Currumbin. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Just near the airport, as well as a little further away, there is a great choice of hotels with rooms rates starting as low as US$50 per night. In most cases, it makes sense to stay for one night only, just to relax after a flight or before the depature.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Gold Coast airport (OOL). Next just walk on your own to your hotel.
But if you need somewhere to the north - for example
Currumbin Creek, you'll have to get to the stop
"Pacific Pde at Wallace Nicoll Park" by bus 767 or 768.
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to the Gold Coast in Australia is a warm season from November to May.
