Costa Rei beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Costa Rei is a resort area in the south-east of
Sardinia island. The south end of coast is called
Sant Elmo beach. While guide books promise extraordinary beauty of the sea, in reality the beaches are quite ordinary by the Sardinia standards. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
The coast is mostly occupied by luxury resorts. Some of them are extremely expensive without obvious reason. Fortunately, few low cost options are also available.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Cagliari International Airport (CAG). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the island of Sardinia is a warm season from July to September. Sea water is the warmest in August, but there are lots of tourists that time.
