Dharavandhoo is a residential island in
Baa Atoll, Maldives. It has a domestic airport, as well as excellent beaches. Nearby there is also
Hanifaru Bay lagoon being UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, as a place with the world's best diving. Thus the island is a great place both for a transit overnight stay or for a short vacation. The bottom near the coast is mostly rocky with good snorkeling, but few sandy areas are also available. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
