Dhidhoofinolhu is a private island in the South Ari atoll being quite large by the Maldivian standards. Everywhere there is a beautiful and varied beach, giving a complete picture of what the Maldives can be. The bottom is sandy with a comfortable water depth, and there are no breakwaters. To the north there is a long sandspit, so you can walk at low tide to the local
Dhigurah island. Shore and seabed: sand, coral chips.

Hotels [edit]
LUX* South Ari Atoll is a magnificent 5-star resort with rooms' fares starting from US$600 per night. This is a very good price for the true five-star in the Maldives, but all additional services are very expensive - be it food, drinks or tours.
Luxury water bungalows are cleverly located, so that they can rarely be seen from the island, not spoiling great views from the beach. Water villas itself have more privacy, as no one will be looking at you from the coast or accidentally swimming over.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next fly by a seaplane - 30 minutes one way. Total cost for the round transfer is US$480 per adult and US$240 per child of 2-11 years old (infants are free of charge).
When to go [edit]
The best time to relax on the beaches of LUX* South Ari Atoll hotel is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
