Dhiffushi is an island resort in Alifu Dhaalu atoll, Maldives (not to be confused with the local
Dhiffushi island in North Male atoll). Nearby there is a large
Maamigili island with the airport, however, you won't see and hear it from the northern beach. But this disadvantage makes significant discounts for this great Maldivian beach. In the west of the island, there is a beautiful sandspit popular for weddings. It also has a house reef with good snorkelling. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Holiday Island Resort is a four star property with room's rates starting from US$300 per night. Value for money is very good, and it's a great option if you don't need water bungalows and other kinds of luxury.
The best bungalows are located in the north-west of the island - far away from the airport. Keep in mind, that during the peak dates you may get a room located on the south coast with a view to the airport, and the hotel just won't be able to change you to other place.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a mandatory transfer. First you'll take a domestic flight to
Maamigili airport, where the hotel will take you off by its boat. The transfer fee is US$300 for adult, US$150 for a child under 12 years, free for infants under 2 years.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the Holiday Island Resort Dhiffushi is a dry season from January to April.
