Dravuni is an inhabited island in
Kadavu (Kandavu) group, Fiji. It is notable as a stopover for some cruise liners traveling around the South Pacific. The ship stays some distance from the island, and passengers are delivered to the coastline by tender boats. West side of the island features a paradise beach with palms, while the east side has a good snorkeling on the home reef. There are also nice hills with trekking routes compared to those on popular Yasawas. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
The cost of the basic room on the island starts from as low as US$20 per night. This is price for a couple including meals! However, most likely that this won't last forever, and locals will rise the fares. So hurry up, until it happens.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Nadi International Airport (NAN). Then take a weekly ferry from the Suva port (Thursdays only). All the additional details should be received from the hotel, where you intend to stay.
However, most tourists come here on a cruise liner, so they don't care about local hotels and transportation issues. Of course, this is very convenient. But, on the other hand, if you take an individual travel, most likely that you will be the only tourist on the island six days out of seven.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Dravuni is a dry period from May to November.
