Durrat Al Bahrain beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Durrat Al Bahrain is an artificial island in the south of
Bahrain. Dubai's Palm Island is quite like Durrat. But Durrat is probably even better. The beaches are planned very good. Unfortunately, there is not a single palm in the sand. With palms, this place would be much more upscale. But for unclear reasons, the developer decided that villas and promenade vegetation would be enough. So the beaches have great potential, but as for now it looks rather poor. Everybody is allowed to enter the complex. You can sit in a restaurant or even rent a jet ski. However, outsiders are not permitted in the evening, or sometimes even during the whole day. So it's not possible to understand the logic of security guards sitting on the entrance. Shore and seabed: sand.
