Eden Island
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Eden Island is an artificial islet located near the north-east of
Mahe island, Seychelles. It is a very upscale place with marina, luxury villas, restaurants and supermarket. Unfortunately, the four main beaches are rather mediocre. In addition, it is hard to feel here the spirit of Creole region. So it makes sense to stop here only if you are traveling on your own yacht. Shore and seabed: stones, sand.

Hotels [edit]
All villas on the Eden Island are offered as individual hotels with rooms' fares ranging from US$200 to US$900 per night. Since the largest villa has an area of just 160 sq.m., it seems to be slightly overpriced.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Seychelles international airport (SEZ). Next hire a taxi.
There are also cheap shuttle buses on the island with a lot of routes. Keep in mind, that often you have to change bus in the capital city of
Victoria to get from one side of the island to another.
When to go [edit]
It is good to travel to Seychelles any time of the year. The nature is more beautiful in the rainy season from October to April, while the dry season will give you more sunny days.
