Ein Bokek is a popular beach resort area on the Dead Sea in the Jewish part of Israel. So it's comfortable and safe here, though not very budget. Almost all hotels offer a wide range of SPA-services, which are definitely worth the money. Shore and seabed: sand and salt.

There are dozen of hotels in Ein Bokek. One hotel is a premium class property with room starting from $ 1,000 per night. The rest of the hotels are about $ 100-150, which is rather inexpensive by Israel standards.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tel-Aviv International Airport (TLV). Then take a bus to Jerusalem. Next take a bus to Ein Bokek. There is also good bus connection with Ein Bokek from Eilat, as well as from many other major Israel cities.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the Dead Sea is a period from July to September. The rest of time sea water is too cold, while the Dead Sea is not a place just to sunbathe.
