Ein Gedi SPA (Hammei Mazor) is a resort on the Dead Sea in Israel. The beach itself is quite mediocre, but there are few overwater tents giving pretty shadow for those staying in the water. Shore and seabed: sand, salt.
[edit]
Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels directly near the beach. A little further to the north there are few hotels near the glorious National Park of Ein Gedi.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tel-Aviv International Airport (TLV). Next take a bus via Jerusalem or via any other major town of the central Israel. In fact, any part of the Dead Sea coast can be reached by bus: just tell the bus driver what is your destination.
Mud baths and the pool are about 1 km away from the coast due to the constant decrease in the depth of the sea. This distance can be easily covered by a free SPA's shuttle.
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to the Dead Sea is a warm season from May to October.

Useful information [edit]
Ein Gedi is mainly known for the National park, located 3 km north of the Ein Gedi SPA beach (Hammei Mazor). There is also some kind of a beach just near the National park. However, it is hard to get there from the Park, though the distance is not very long.
