El Gallito beach

El Gallito is a beach in the north coast of Vieques island, Puerto Rico. This is not very comfortable beach, since sea bottom is mostly rocky. However, there are also areas with a comfortable bottom. There are several luxury hotels near the beach of El Gallito. But these are not presented in the online booking systems. A little to the east - in the town near the port, there is a better choice of hotels with rooms' fares ranging from US$100 to US$200 per night.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to San Juan airport (SJU). Next get to Fajardo ferry dock by taxi or by bus. Boats to Vieques island run several times per day.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to visit Vieques island any time of year. There is a small chance of hurricanes in the summer, but sea water is warmer. Winter is considered to be a high season, and there are a lot of people that time.
