Ellis is the northernmost patrolled beach of
Cairns in Australia. A look at the photos is enough to understand that it could not be better. There are only a few cheap hotels, thus giving romantic low key charm to this place located on a suberb tropical beach. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
It is worth to stay here, only if you need a car camping. In this case, you will get a glamorous parking directly by the beach with palm trees.
In all other cases, it will be better to choose a hotel in the nearby
Palm Cove beach located just to the south. It is almost as good as Ellis beach, but the choice of hotels is much better.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Cairns international airport (CNS). Next take a bus to the stop
"Veivers Road near Capt Cook Highway" (routes 110, 110N) located near the
Palm Cove beach. Next move 1 mile to the north along the Captain Cook Highway: hire a taxi, or catch a passing car, or just walk.
When to go [edit]
The best time for relaxing on the Ellis beach in a suburb of Cairns is a dry season from May to November.
