Euakafa island

Euakafa is an island in
Vava'u archipelago of Tonga. It's mainly known for the ancient tomb of Talafaiva queen. The beach is rather mediocre, even in comparison with the neighboring
Euaiki island. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Dream Island Resort is a premium resort with a beach bungalow starting from US$300 per night. At the time of writing this article, the booking is available only via strange online form at the hotel's website.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next take a domestic flight to
Vavaʻu International Airport (VAV). There are also flights from Fiji to Vava'u islands.
The official hotel's transfer is possible just from the airport (US$80 there and back) or from the main Neiafu town (US$70).
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the island of Euakafa is a dry cool season from May to October.
