Eueiki is a small private island of the
Vava'u archipelago in Tonga. The beach is good, but not the best even by the standards of Tonga. According to the island's owners this is one of the few places in the world, where you can swim with the whales right from the beach. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Treasure Island Tonga is a three-stars eco-resort. As with most of other "eco" hotels, it means very basic conditions for overpriced rates.
On the other hand the staff is hospitable, trying to do their best to make guests feel happy. So the hotel is worth a few nights, if you agree to pay the price.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next take a domestic flight to
Vavaʻu International Airport (VAV). There are also flights from Fiji to Vava'u islands.
Hire a taxi to the pier in the south of the main island, and next take the hotel's boat. Transfer fees and other aspects should be arraged with the hotel in advance.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the islands of Vava'u is a dry season from May to October. As for the whales watching, the best is a period from June to November.
