Fafa is a paradise island to the north of Nuku'alofa in
Tongatapu island of Tonga. Postcard scenery with palm trees and white sand is not the best in Oceania, but anyway it's beautiful. Shore and seabed: sand.

Fafa Island Resort is the only hotel in the island. The room's rates start from US$200 per night.
You may also visit Fafa island on a daily basis. In this case the boat from Nuku'alofa costs US$40 per person including lunch.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next get to
Nukuʻalofa by taxi or by bus. The boat runs from the
Faua Wharf to Fafa island at 11 am and returns back at 4 pm. The journey takes 30 minutes per way.
When to go [edit]
The best time to relax on the beaches of Tongatapu is a dry season from May to October.
