Fafarua beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Fafarua is a private island in the southeast of
Tikehau atoll, French Polynesia. In fact, these are three neighboring motus. All of these will be completely yours - without any other tourists. So this is a totally exclusive option. Of course, there are many scenic palms. But the swimming is not very comfortable due to the rocky sea bottom. So it is better to have slippers for walking on corals. However, this is not a problem, since every day you'll have free boat tours around atoll lagoon - including sandy beaches and sandbanks. Shore and seabed: pebbles, stones, sand.
