Faraglioni is an unusual beach in Italy - with elevators in the rocks looking like a secret military base from spy movies of 20th century. There are private hotels' beaches. But still it is possible to get for free to the public area. Ironically, the free beach is usually even less crowded. The place is beautiful, but there is nothing to do for more than two days. And definitely this is not the best beach in Italy, - don't let yourself be fooled! Shore and seabed: pebbles.

Hotels [edit]
Beachfront properties are
Hotel Baia Delle Zagare and
Baia dei Mergoli Hotel (rooms from US$300 per night). There is also upscale
Villa Zagare (from US$170) located 15 minutes walking away.
Beach resorts are good enough, but not worth the money. Please also note, that the territory is small, while most the guests are Italian grandmas and grandpas.
If you want to save money or to have new impressions, it is worth to visit the restaurant of Monte Barone located five minutes walking up the hill - near the road.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Bari airport (BRI). Get by the local train to
Manfredonia station. Next get by taxi about 25 km to the north-east.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Faraglioni Di Puglia is a warm season in the summer half of the year.
