Fazayah West beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Fazayah West is a wild beach in the south of Oman (aka
Hidden Beach at Al Fazayah). It is located not far from the border with Yemen. It is possible to get here by car only. Car parking is located in the east end of the beach. It will also take another 20 minutes to walk down to the beach. There is a great view of the beach seeing from atop, and even more spectacular view of the mountains seeing from the beach. There are no trees ashore, but the swimming is usually quite comfortable. Sea bottom is sandy, while ocean is often calm - without strong waves. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

The best time for a beach holiday in Salalah is spring and autumn. Summer and winter are also good enough, but sea water is cooler. In winter - because it is winter, and in summer - because there are a lot of clouds in the sky.
