Fehendhoo is a local island in Goidhoo atoll, Maldives (
Baa group). The beaches are almost as good as on the neighboring
Fulhadhoo island. There are also ancient archaeological sites of the Buddhist period. The island is large, so you will always find a secluded spot. There is also a bikini beach. Shore and seabed: sand.

There are two cheap hotels -
Fehendhoo Stay and
Tropical Village. Room's rates start from US$100 per night including all taxes.
Only two hotels for such a large island means, that you are unlikely to meet tourists or locals on a remoted beaches.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Take a public speedboat to Goidhoo island, and next hotel's boat will pick you up. The total cost of the round-trip transfer is US$90.
Speedboat runs on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Departure from Male is at 9:30, back from the island - at 13:30. The journey takes 2 hours per way.
Other days the only transfer option is to fly to
Dharavandhoo airport (DRV) (US$100 per person for the one way), and next take a private boat (from US$200 per way for the boat).

The best time for a beach holiday in Fehendhoo island of Maldives is a dry season from January to April.
