Fethiye beach

Fethiye - is a resort town near Dalaman in Turkey. Calis (pronounced "Chalysh") - is a long city beach of sand and pleasant promenade with palm trees. Though Fethiye is considered to be a premium destination, there are many cheap rooms for rent. Self-catering apartments with kitchens are very popular. Sadly, but this type of accomodatin is so rare in the rest of Turkey.

Fly to Dalaman International Airport (DLM). Next get by taxi or by bus.

When to go [edit]

Due to an enclosed bay the beach season in Fethiye lasts a little longer than in the rest of Turkey. You can swim quite comfortable from May to October.
