Filitheyo island

Filitheyo is a budget island resort on the atoll of Faafu, Maldives. The beach is perfect, but entry into the water is rocky almost everywhere with broken corals. The snorkeling is good on the edge of the home reef, and further away there are few more stunning reefs with a couple of ship wrecks. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Filitheyo Island Resort is a 4-star hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$250 per night. Value for money is great, but it is best to take all-inclusive package, as everything is very expensive on the island.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next fly to Filitheyo island by seaplane, which takes half an hour per way. The round trip transfer is about US$500 per adult and US$300 per child.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Filitheyo is a dry season from January to April.
