Follets Island beach

Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Follets Island is a wild beach to the south of Houston in Texas, being a part of Brazoria National Park. There is a lot of free space everywhere. You can get by car, stop by the water, and there will not be a living soul around! And after all of that, this is not far from Houston, which is one of the largest megalopolises of the United States. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]
This beach ranks #2 of the "Best beaches in Houston"
Rating: 7.4 - 591 votes [vote]
Coordinates: 29.02968, -95.18288

Hotels [edit]

Follets Island has just a few hotels, and these are poorly presented in the international booking systems. But they do definetely exist. In some cases, it makes sense to look for information over the Internet, and try to connect directly with property owners.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Houston international airport (IAH). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a holiday in Follets Island beach is a warm season from May to October.
