Forfar Field beach

Forfar Field is a beach in the northeast of Andros Island, Bahamas. The beach is pretty nice - with palms and white sand. Unfortunately, there is usually a lot of algae in summer. Since the beach is faced to the open Atlantic Ocean. As for the hotel, it is located in an inner bay. But it is also very nice. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Stafford Creek Lodge is a great hotel within a walking distance from the beach. You can find out actual prices on their website:
www.StaffordCreekLodge.com. However, the hotel is mostly focused on ocean fishing, - not a beach holiday.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Nassau international airport (NAS). Next make a domestic flight to
South Andros Airport (TZN), or fly to
San Andros airport (SAQ), or fly to
Andros Town airport (ASD).
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to Andros island is a dry season in the winter half of the year. However, the summer is also good. Since sea water is much warmer, and there are no crowds of tourists.
