Frassanito beach

Frassanito is a wild beach with sand dunes located to the north of Otranto, Italy. Sea bottom is sandy in some areas and rocky in some other areas. So you may have both comfortable swimming, as well as snorkeling. Rocks also make the landscape to be much more scenic. But the most important about this place is that it's relatively uncrowded! How to get there [edit]

Fly to Brindisi airport (BDS) or fly to Bari airport (BRI). Next get by the local train to Otranto station, and take a taxi drive about 15 km.

If you drive a rental car, pay you attention to the parking lot located right near the shore (GPS 40.226987, 18.461135), that is some kind of luxury for this district. You should come early in the morning to find free space.
