Freedom Beach

Freedom Beach is a small beach in the south of Koh Tao island in Thailand. There are palms, huge boulders, good entry into the water and nice snorkeling. But the key feature are the trees, that come into water during the high tide, creating an unusual landscape. Last years, the hotel applies 50 bahts entrance fee to the beach. Shore and seabed: sand. Hotels [edit]

Taatoh Resort & Freedom Beach Resort is the only accomodation option near the Freedom Beach. Rooms' fares start from US$25 per night, while the hotel is very bad. However, secluded location near the good beach worth a lot.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Koh Tao by Lomprayah catamaran (Bangkok to Chumphon by bus anyway). Once get to the island, you can walk around or take a water taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a holiday in Freedom Beach of Koh Tao island is a dry season from late December to September.
