Friendship Bay beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Friendship Bay is a beach located in a protected bay in the south of
Bequia island, Grenadines. It could be the best beach of the island, but unfortunately this is the Atlantic coast. The water is often choppy, and there are also algae in the hurricane season (from June to October). However, the swimming is comfortable anyway. There are just a few tourists, while you'll have a lot of space for walking. As for the coastal vegetation, it's superb in all respects! Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Bequia Beachfront Villas is a great four-star property located on the west end of the bay (room from US$100 per night). There are also few more accommodation options located a little further away from the beach. But unfortunately these are even more expensive.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Saint Vincent international airport (SVD). Next fly to
Bequia island airport (BQU).
There is also ferry services between the islands of Saint Vincent (Kingstown port) and Bequia (Port Elizabeth). It takes 30-50 minutes per way. No need to purchase tickets in advance:
