Fulhadhoo is a beach in the Maldives (
Baa atoll). This place is unique. Most of the Maldivian islands are expensive luxury hotels, or local islands completely built-up with houses. But this island is relatively large, and the village occupies only a small area. All the rest is completely yours. Several miles of white sand like flour, lush tropical vegetation and a sandy spit with clear water and perfect sunset. Most of time there is no one on the beach - neither locals, nor tourists. And you can get all of this even with a limited budget. Beach and seabed: sand.
[edit]
Hotels [edit]
There are no lots of hotels on the island, so it is best to book in advance.
Taxes are always added to the price of the room. Thus, if a double room costs $ 85, then in reality the price will be $ 117 :
$ 85 + 8% + 10%, plus $ 8 per person per night
It's Ok, since many hotels located on the capital Male island are even more expensive.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male International Airport (MLE). Next take a 2 hours trip by chartered speedboat. Then take another boat ride (15 minutes). More details about way to Fulhadhoo island are
