Gaadhiffushi island

Gaadhiffushi is a local island of Thaa atoll in the Maldives. There is a relatively good beach, but bikini is not permitted. But there are sandbanks nearby providing a walking pathway (during low tide) to excellent uninhabited islets. However, it is better to pay for the daily tour to get around by boat. You should always remember, that atoll's edge is a dangerous area with strong currents, which may carry you away into the open ocean. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Bambukeyo villa is a typical Maldivian guesthouse with room's rates starting from US$130 per night. This is quite expensive, as the room itself is ordinary, while the hotel does not give any special bonuses.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next take a domestic flight to Thimarafushi airport and get to Gaadhiffushi island by the hotel's boat. Full transfer from Male and back costs US$250/200/100 for adult / child of 2-11 years old / infant.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Gaadhiffushi island is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
