Galleon is a beach in the south of
Antigua island. There are many palms, while all views are scenic. Due to the location in a protected bay, there are never strong waves, nor algae here. In addition, it is possible to have a great snorkeling on the house reef. Unfortunately, the south end of the beach is rocky, so swimming is not very good. But if you stay in an upscale Inn Resort, everything will be fine. As for the popular
Loose Cannon Beach Bar, it is good for music, but the food is quite ordinary. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
The Inn at English Harbor is a 5-star property with rooms' fares starting from US$1000 per night. Such a high end price tag probably was set due to its boutique status, as well to location in the best area of the beach. Unfortunately, the service is not so great, as one could imagine. So value for money is not the best. For their money it's not enough to be just a good hotel.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Antigua international airport (ANU). Next hire a taxi.
When to go [edit]
You can relax in Antigua any time of year. Summer is considered to be off-season due to the heat and hurricane season. But it's still a great time anyway.
