Galveston beach

Galveston is a city beach near Houston in Texas, USA. In general, this is a good place, if you are too lazy to get to more remote (and secluded) beaches. There is a notable pier with an amusement park in the central part of the coast. Everywhere, there are also breakwaters and embankment called Seawall. Cost of room in the hotels of Galveston ranges from $150 to $1000 per night. This is very expensive for such a mediocre beach. To be true, it is more reasonable to take some budget flight to Dominican Republic, even if you have only few days for your vacation.
