Gangehi is an island resort in
North Ari Atoll of the Maldives. The key feature about it is a great reef snorkeling and shallow water lagoon. The beach is also good everywhere, plus a long sandspit. Many coastal areas are closed for public access, as these are dedicated to beach villas. This is not very comfortable, as the island is small. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Gangehi Island Resort is a five-star hotel with a minimum room's fare of US$200 per night. However, you are unlikely to get this price, because for the most of dates the price starts at US$400.
It is also inexpensive, but the hotel is not the real 5 stars. "Club rooms" are particularly awful, as these located in the technical area of the island.
Please note that full board meal plan don't include any drinks, while the food is quite mediocre.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a seaplane. Travel time is 30 minutes. The total cost with all taxes is US$440 for adult, US$220 per child, infants are free of charge.
Lifehack: It is also possible to take the public speedboat transfer for US$50 per person per way (2 hours on the way). The hotel don't anounce this option, but if you ask, you've got a chance.
When to go [edit]
