Genting beach

Genting is a large village on the west of Tioman island in Malaysia. The beach is beautiful - with picturesque palms and white sand. However, most of the sea bottom is stony, thus being not suitable for swimming. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

In the village of Genting, there is the best choice of budget hotels in all of the Tioman. However, other beaches have a lot of similar hotels for about the same money.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Next take a bus to Mersing, and follow to Tioman island by Bluewater Express ferry - 2 hours per way.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Genting is a dry period from April to July.
