Gentle Winds beach

Gentle Winds is a private beach on the north coast of Saint Croix island, US Virgin Islands. This is a great secluded spot with scenic views. Swimming is possible only in a small area with sandy bottom. Sea water is deep right near the coastline. So this is not the best place for small children. While sea bottom is rocky in most other areas. Thus the snorkeling has some potential, but it is still not the best due to the shallow waters. Gentle Winds Condominiums is an excellent property featuring a pool. The apartments are offered by different owners under different names. Price tag may also differ - usually starting from US$200 per night.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Saint Croix island any time of year. Summer half of the year is a low season due to the risk of hurricanes. But the weather is usually very good even during this period.
