Gili Layar islet

Gili Layar is a small island to the east of Lombok in Indonesia. The hotel ground is a private area, while the rest of the coast is open for free access. However, there are never many people anyway. The snorkeling is excellent near the island, but swimming can be hard due to the strong currents. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Layar Beach Bungalow is the only accomodation option on the island with room's rates starting from US$30 per night. These are that cozy huts with rounded roofs. By the way, thare are only five bungalows, so the feeling of exclusivity is guaranteed.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Lombok international airport (LOP). Next buy a tour around islets of Lombok, or take a hotel's transfer.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Gili Layar is a dry period from April to October.
