Gizzeria Lido beach

Gizzeria Lido is a seaside town in central Calabria, Italy, - near the airport of Lamezia Terme. A little to the north, there is an iconic Hang Loose Beach famous for the International kite surfing competitions. It has a great youth crowd with good music and various activities and animation focused on the sport. However, kitesurfing is also available to the south of the central city beach. The choice of hotels is limited in Gizzeria Lido. However, a dozen more of accommodation options are available within a walking distance from the coastline. Rooms' rates range from US$30 to US$250 per night.

Hang Loose Beach has only one resort nearby. This is an excellent 4-star Palmed Hotel Gizzeria (from US$80) located in 15 minutes walking distance from the sea. So it is quite possible to travel without a car, but still it is better to hire a taxi from the railway station to the hotel.

Fly to Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF). Next take a train to the station of Gizzeria Lido.
