Gold Rock beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Gold Rock is the longest wild beach on the
island of Grand Bahama. In fact, this is a coastal area of
Lucayan National Park, so complete seclusion is guaranteed. During the low tide, sandbanks give a great opportunities for a spectacular photo shoot. Unfortunately, the trees scenery is not quite what we expect from the world famous tropical paradise. Shore and seabed: sand.

When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on Grand Bahama Island is a summer half of the year, when sea water is warm enough. Of course, this is a hurricane season, but most of the time there are no any hurricanes. But in winter, the sea water is too cold, as it's a Northern Caribbean.
