Golem beach

Golem is a southern suburb of Durres resort town, Albania. So it is almost the same as Durres, but not so crowded. However, the place is still very popular - especially in August. Central Qerret Beach is the greenest one with pine forest and almost without buildings. The best is to choose a hotel near this spot. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

In beachfront hotels of Golem, rooms' fares start from US$100 per night. While private apartments start from as low as US$40. Apartments don't have private beach, but their rooms are often better than in hotels. However, it's like that almost all over the world.

Fly to Tirana international airport (TIA). Next take a taxi or get by bus.

The best time for a beach holiday in Albania is a warm period from June to September.
