Guanabo is the most remoted beach in the group of
Playas del Este to the east of Havana in
Cuba. The beach is extremely popular among Cubans, but there are no many foreign tourists. There are few supermarkets in the village, as well as the cheapest accomodation options in the Havana riviera. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Villa Mayada is the only hotel presented in international booking systems. There are also a lot of inexpensive casas near the beach. Reservation is not required.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Havana Airport (HAV). Next take a bus #400 (0,4 peso nacional) or hire a shuttle mini bus (1 CUC) from the Havana train station. The journey takes 45 minutes per way.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Havana is a warm summer half of the year.
