Halk beach

Halk is a beach in the eastern suburbs of Istanbul, Turkey. The beach itself is rather mediocre due to the depressive dark sand mixed with pebbles. However, the swimming is comfortable, and the whole area is manicured. There is a sunbeds rental, as well as good cafes and nice promenade along the coast. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are no hotels near Halk Beach. However, there are several accommodation options around with rooms' rates starting from US$80 per night. These are not in a walking distance from the beach, but Uber journey will be short and cheap.

Fly to Istanbul international airport (IST). Next get by bus or take a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Turkey is a warm period from June to September.
