Hamoa beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Hamoa is a beach on the east of
Maui island in Hawaii. It's not so beautiful as western beaches of the island, but it's cozy, laid back and unspoiled. However, there is still a single palm and a lot of trees, - so everything is not so bad. Usually the waves are very strong, but sometimes it happens a calm weather. However, in any case, it is quite dangerous to swim at this beach. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hana Oceanfront Cottages is the only resort property located near the beach. A few more hotels can be found a little to the north - in
Hana village.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Honolulu international airport (HNL), next fly to
Maui airport - Kahului (OGG). There are also direct flights to Maui airport from USA and Canada. Next hire a taxi. Parking is available only by the road on the top of a hill. So you'll have to walk down a lot, and that the worst, then climb up to get back.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a holiday on the beach of Hamoa in Maui island is a summer half of the year. That time, sea water is warm enough, while waves are not so strong.
